2022 Triumph Trident 660

2022 TRIUMPH TRIDENT 660 STYLING AND INTERIOR FEATURES

It’s simple to understand why this motorcycle should be at the top of your shopping list. The 660 was created with the average rider in mind, which manifests in its characteristics.

It has a new, unmistakable silhouette with a fresh, contemporary attitude and commanding riding stance. A redesigned chassis with top-notch suspension and brakes offers responsive handling and comfortable daily riding. Furthermore, the 660cc triple engine offers reasonable, approachable performance in its entry-level class.

Various advanced rider equipment options offer even more control, safety, and connectivity, which contribute to its distinctive character. This game-changing motorbike introduces the Triumph three-cylinder experience to a whole new generation of riders with its thrilling blend of performance, flair, and value.

Long drives are made less tiring by the vehicle’s comfortable sitting position, which is neither too forward nor too back. Additionally, it has modern technologies like traction control, adjustable ABS brakes, and a USB outlet for charging your phone! However, this motorcycle still keeps its traditional British charm despite all these fantastic upgrades from earlier generations.

Like most modern street-oriented motorcycles, each has a variety of settings that may be customized to your preferences; you’ll only need to do it when stationary. There are two ABS settings; one is designed for use on roads, and the other permits more rear-wheel slip when driving off-road.

2022 TRIUMPH TRIDENT 660 SPECS

A 660cc inline three-cylinder engine with 81.6 horsepower and 41.4 lb-ft of torque powers the 2022 Triumph Trident 660 and power is transmitted to a chain final drive through a six-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch.

Triumph provides traction control with a dedicated offsetting, three separate riding modes (Rain, Road, and Sport), and an optional up/down quickshifter. A set of four-piston radial calipers biting on dual 310mm front discs and ABS support these electronic aids. A single 255mm disc is gripped by the Nissin caliper, which is hydraulically operated, for assistance with stopping power. If you decide to chase canyons in your new vehicle, switchable cornering ABS is also available.

The Trident 660 is supported by 41mm conventional forks up front and a preload-adjustable mono-shock with 7 inches of travel at the rear. It rides on 17-inch cast-aluminum wheels with Metzeler Racetec RR tires (120/70 front, 180/55 rear). There is plenty of room to slide around before striking the pavement below, thanks to the running ground clearance of 5 inches and curb weight of 403 pounds wet (full tank of fuel included).

Alternatively, if you’d rather keep the rubber side down, you may use it to evaluate your lean angle. Riders from all backgrounds will find it simple to get comfortable on this motorcycle, whether they plan to commute daily or hit their favorite set of corners over mountain passes during weekends and away from everyday life. The seat height measures 31.7 inches, and the wheelbase measures 48.5.
