Job Requirements

  • Several years of experience in motorcycle repair and maintenance preferred
  • Experience working with various types of motorcycles and scooters required
  • Strong knowledge of motorcycle components, systems, and functions
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills required
  • Must have own tools and equipment preferred

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire changes, and tune-ups
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems
  • Replace or repair broken or worn components, such as brakes, clutches, and transmissions
  • Test motorcycles to ensure proper operation and safety
  • Create detailed repair estimates and provide clients with an explanation of necessary repairs
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards
  • Keep detailed records of all work performed and parts used
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Parts Associate to join our motorcycle dealership team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for motorcycles, strong customer service skills, and an interest in dealership operations.

The Parts Associate is responsible for assisting customers and service technicians with parts inquiries, ordering and receiving inventory, and maintaining an organized and efficient parts department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist retail customers and service technicians in identifying and purchasing motorcycle parts and accessories

  • Process parts orders, returns, and special requests accurately

  • Receive, stock, and organize parts inventory

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and pricing

  • Answer phone and in-person parts inquiries professionally

  • Work closely with the service department to ensure timely availability of parts

  • Keep the parts department clean, organized, and visually presentable

  • Follow dealership policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Previous parts, retail, or dealership experience preferred (motorcycle or powersports experience a plus)

  • Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with motorcycles strongly preferred

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Attention to detail and basic computer skills

  • Ability to lift and move parts and boxes as needed
